No Eric Stoltz calendar this year. Sorry, folks, but somehow there is not much new (usable) material and doing the same motifs over and over is bit ... well ... frustrating. Think positiv! Next year there is a lot of new stuff for us! Caprica, Fort McCoy and maybe some more!

Btw. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Enjoy!

December 4, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Three episodes of Grey’s Anatomy in front of the camera to come! According to Michael Aussiello (, Eric Stoltz will be serial killer again. Thanks, Ysabella, for that update! And thanks for the correction, Abby!

, the Battlestar Galactica prequel got a go as a series! Filming location will be Vancouver again. No further details yet. One of many articles here (

November 17, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Sorry, been away for a while. Birthdays, a wedding anniversary (not mine!) and a cms class last weekend, but now, I am back.

I just missed one update: Eric Stoltz directed another Grey’s Anatomy episode. The title is “These Ties That Bind” (#5.08).

Ysabella sent me links to new photos on Thanks Ysa!

Short note for Safari users: this site looks different when using other browsers like IE, Firefox or Opera. I will do my best to find a solution for that little problem with the object attributes, but for the moment there is none.

October 16, 2008 +++ News Update +++

The Grey’s Anatomy ep directed by Eric Stoltz is “Brave New World” (#504) and it is airing on ABC today.

October 8, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Updates on Tintin. Well, what should I write. Confusion everywhere. DreamWorks and Paramount split up and no final decision has been made on Tintin yet. Read an article on that here ( And still no official announcement whether Eric Stoltz has signed up for it or not.

Release date for Fort McCoy is September 2009.

September 30, 2008

Happy Birthday Eric Stoltz!

September 20, 2008 +++ News Update +++

won’t be made. According to several sources,  Spielberg and Jackson stated that they were not able to raise the money required for the project. Shooting start was scheduled for this October.

PS: Hi to Ysa, You got ahead of me in the Google ranking (congratulations!). Lately I missed to follow the Google prime directive that you have to repeat the key words of your site content. And it seems that I do not do this often enough *grin* So -- for Google and the other robots -- once more: Eric Stoltz.

September 14, 2008 +++ News Update +++

For Mac users who want to see the Blank Slate eps, J sent me this tip: download the freeware Flip4Mac WMV player and you will be able to view the show with the Safari browser. (Thanks, J!)

September 12, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Blank Slate
eps 1-20 are streaming on here. Just got the TNT media player working with IE6, even IE7 goes on strike and won’t load the Flash container. Opera and Firefox don’t work (thanks for letting me know, Abby!) either. The support page says that IE (5.5 and higher) and Firefox (1.5 and higher) should work though. Let me know, when you are able to load it with another browser, please.

New article on Fort McCoy
here (Westby Times). Some comments on filming in a cell phone service free area. And some rumors: there is a new movie project listed on IMDb, called Come Back to Sorrento and once again with his Out of Order wife Felicity Huffman.

It says “starring Eric Stoltz” on the site. Make sure to order tickets BEFORE Caprica is going on air. Tickets go on sale September 10th.

September 4, 2008 +++ News Update +++

It looks like Eric Stoltz is in another L.A. Theatre Works play. But I cannot tell whether he will be on stage himself or directing the play or both. The articles online state different possibilities.

The play is George Packer’s  Betrayed and I hope that the site is updated soon and we will get more info on that one. Dates are Feb. 18-22, 2009 and venue is the L.A. Skirball Cultural Center.

And here are some links:

Got a link to an interesting interview with John Harrison on filming Blank Slate. He said something about working with Eric Stoltz. Click here ( Thanks Peter!

Sorry for not being more active at the moment, but I am working on another project. But the main part is done now. Just two more weeks and I am all yours again.

August 20, 2008 +++ News Update +++

First Blank Slate photos online! Have a look here ( One pic gives me the creep. Bit of what if he kept this Fast Times at Ridgemont High look. Thanks Abby!

Surf II is on Just enter the title and voilá.

Link to the interview clip does work! Thanks, J, for checking. Might be that my non-US IP does not to the trick. I am alien, you know.

Release dates updates:
Blank Slate airs Tues starting 9/9 during Law & Order (on TNT)
Milk is to premiere in San Francisco on 10/29/2008
Caprica is scheduled for 12/1/2008 on SciFi

July 22, 2008 +++ News Update +++

On Sunday, the SciFi Channel's press conference on Caprica took place and we got some more details on the series.

Spoiler alert! If you do not want to know more, do not read the article or watch the trailer.

Okay, let’s start with one of the
TCA Panel article ( Eric Stoltz quote: "What drew me to it was the script. It was such a wonderful, rich, surprisingly smart script to be sent out of the blue that I couldn't resist." All three promo photos I have seen so far are included in that article.

A Caprica trailer on A panel photo is here, you might have to scroll down a bit (

July 20, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Official update on Caprica: yes, it exists and it was filmed in Vancouver – not that we haven’t read that before – and no additional eps have been ordered yet. Not much, but at least some facts concerning this matter. Have a look at the complete press release here (

July 16, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Sometimes, just sometimes I really would like to ask Mr. Stoltz, which projects he has signed up for. This is one of those moments. The news and blogs do not help to get this knot cut. He is still listed for Howl and Paddyville, but no updates on those two.

Rumors: According to several unproved (!) sources, Caprica got an okay for the filming of 13 eps starting this September. Another site states that just two more scripts have been ordered. At the same time, filming Tintin (which is still not verified as well) is eyeing a filming start in September.

As soon as there is something official and proven, I will post it.

Caprica -- the Battlestar Galatica prequel-spin-off -- has drawn much attention in the fan community. It is worth surfing for sites, but no photos yet. Have a look
here (Caprica TV fanblog) and here (13th Colony).

Poll closed. You got RSS and I will add photos again. Just have to find some non-rights ones. And fan art of course. I am thankful for any contribution! A newletter, an external blog and an Eric Stoltz fans united section is just asked by a minority. So, this is not to come yet. There will be a poll in January or so, just to make sure that we are heading the right direction.

Opera does work, it just won’t display the page with the RSS feed entries, but you are able to subcribe to the feed.

June 24, 2008 +++ News & Site Update +++

There is RSS feed now. Ignore the German discription. My RSS generator thinks this to be funny. Get Feed. The icon will be uploaded soon. (editor’s note 06/26/2008: it does work with Firefox & IE7, but Opera won’t do it at the moment.)

There is also an article on Blank Slate. Click

June 21, 2008 +++ Site Update +++

I knew that this day would come and I knew that it would hurt. Because of legal issues, I deleted all photos and interviews. Just the fanart and the covers are still there. For photos, I will add links to movie still pages soon. Yahoo!, IMDb and some other sites have good ones and therefore it hurts a little less to erase them. For interviews, there are quite a few on Ysa’s and Lorbooks sites. When there are new ones, I will post the links. Oh geez. When starting this ‘I have to improve the site’ thing, I really didn’t think it would go this way. The only stable thing in life is change. Hope you stay tuned! leethana

PS: No! I didn’t get into trouble, but this is not my domain and therefore I do not have to try my luck.

June 6, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Another one: Sparks. But it is already ‘awaiting release’, so, I do not have the faintest idea when or where this was filmed PLUS it is not listed on IMDb, but that seems to become the usual routine these days. Some more details here (

June 2, 2008 +++ News Update +++

It seems that Eric Stoltz has signed up for another project: Stranger, a movie written and directed by Simon Rumley.

Quote: “ The second project is called Stranger and is about a couple of American venture capitalists who see a murder in rural China and then the murderers see them and start chasing. It's a subversive chase/thriller along the lines of Duel meets Lost In Translation. I was in LA recently and met up with Eric Stoltz who's on board to play one of the venture capitalists. We've currently got an offer out to another excellent American actor. “ Source:,

May 20, 2008 +++ News Update +++

Another movie and possible TV series for Eric Stoltz: Blank Slate, a Devlin project, yes, the one who did Independence Day and The Triangle. Thanks Ysa!

May 14, 2008 +++ German TV Update +++

Just got the reply from Kabel1: The Medium ep. “We Had A Dream” aka “Dreimal lebenslänglich” is to aire late this summer. It has not been dubbed yet, therefore there is no date scheduled. No comment.

May 13, 2008 +++ News Update +++

New photo of Eric Stoltz online. Have a look here. It is an article on the Caprica project. Thanks Ysa!

May 12, 2008 +++ News Update +++

According to, Eric Stoltz is part of another SciFi project: Caprica, the two-hour prequel to Battlestar Galactica. Quote: Stoltz (...) will play Daniel Graystone, a wealthy computer engineer who, after an emotionally crippling family tragedy, uses his technological wizardry to change the future of Caprica. Complete article here.

And okay, last Friday it was not his Medium ep. No idea why it wasn’t broadcasted. I am still waiting for the reply of Kabel1.

May 4, 2008  +++ News Update +++

IMDB lists another project for Eric Stoltz: Milk. His character’s name is based on the real-life Tom Ammiano, due to the fact that the movie’s story is -- according to IMDB -- (quote:) the story of California's first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk (...).

Interestingly enough, the state of production is post-production, so maybe some premiere photos this year for us fans!

And another TV tip for Germany: 5th season of Chicago Hope (with Eric Stoltz) is broadcasted on Nick. Next one is ep #99 this coming Tuesday (05/06/2008 20:15 pm).

May 3, 2008  +++ TV tip for Germany +++

Eric Stoltz’ Medium ep. ‘We Had A Dream’ (Dreimal lebenslänglich) is to be broadcasted this coming Friday on Kabel1 (05/09/2008 8:15 pm).

April 22, 2008 +++ News Updates +++

Updates on Howl: Eric Stoltz is still to play the villain. Some projects take a little longer, just like Paddyville. Read article here. Thanks Ysa!

Oh, I forgot, in the article there is a link to a
Howl MySpace page. Seeya:)

April 15, 2008 +++ News Updates +++

Rumors, just hearsay: It could be that Eric Stoltz was casted for the Steven Spielberg / Peter Jackson project ‘Tintin’, based on the comics by Hergé (German name is ‘Tim und Struppi’).

The character’s name is Dr. Krollspell from ‘Flight 714 to Sydney’. This tidbit is to find on different pages, but there is no official statement at the moment. I’ll keep you updated!

Quarterlife part 35 and part 36.

March 2, 2008  +++ News Updates +++

So, there are Quarterlife 33 and Quarterlife 34 and both went online together with 31 and 32 *sigh* this was beyond imagination and therefore I was not looking for it. The Quarterlife part preview 35 is online too.

February 24, 2008  +++ News Updates +++

Quarterlife 32 is online as well.

February 23, 2008  +++ News Updates +++

Over a month? Geez! Sorry for that but it has been a very busy month and even now I feel like I should be working and not having fun *smile*

So, there is another ‘behind the scenes’ clip from Quarterlife that features Eric Stoltz, called
Shooting the Od Scene.

Quarterlife episode ‘Home Sweet Home’ (season 1, episode 6, part 1 or
quarterlife 31, whatever you prefer), directed by Eric Stoltz is online.

Hope you read the note in my guest book on
The Triangle being on SFC channel again. Thanks Sheila for posting it!

January 17, 2008 +++ News & Site Updates +++

News first:
Eric Stoltz directed another Quarterlife episode which is “Home Sweet Home”. It is ‘episode 6 of season 1”. So, it should be part 31 to 36.

And he directed two more Boston Legal eps, which were broadcasted last November & December. Sorry for missing that. Titles are "The Object of My Affection" (#4.06) and "Oral Contracts" (#4.08).

Filmography and Recent Projects updates.
