First things first, Abby sent this yesterday:
@NayAppreciation tweeted a nice photo of Eric Stoltz and Naya Rivera on the set of "Yes/No". Click here (twitter.com). If the link does not work, Abby retweeted it by using our Twitter account EricStoltzFans.
And a last word on the missing EricStoltzOfficial.com. It is final. It is gone. The domain is used by a link farm at the moment and therefore we will delete all links connected to it today. Why do I hear the Beatles singing “Hello, Goodbye” all day long?

January 3, 2012
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a safe and enjoyable celebration to usher it in. Let's begin 2012 with a nice little message from Eric Stoltz via his Twitter account. if that one does not work, try this one.
Seems there's been a change of titles for Eric's newest Glee ep. IMDb, SpoilerTV and the Glee Forums are all now referring to ep 3.10 as "Yes/No" rather than The Proposal. It's still set to air January 17th. No behind-the-scenes pics yet, but promo photos for the ep are up over at SpoilerTV.
And it appears you can add 'casting director' to the many talents of Eric Stoltz: he has encouraged Helen Mirren, his co-star from "The Passion of Ayn Rand", to lend her voice to "Glee". More info here (zap2it.com)
Eric's episode of Eight is Enough, ep27 "Finally Grad Night" - has been uploaded to Filesonic. Click here.
Get it while you can. (Hey, we don't host 'em, we just point you in the right direction.)
Speaking of while it lasts, Eric's short film "Sparks" has also been uploaded. You can watch it on YouTube.
That's it for now! Enjoy the brand new day in a brand new year! Abby

Eric Stoltz will be directing episode 3.10 of Glee, titled "The Proposal". Click here (durancemagazine.org)
According to the Glee Forums, it is to air on January 17th. (gleeforum.com)
Here's just a little fun something I discovered that it seems some of us had not seen before - Eric appears in a music video by The Residents, a song called "Give it to Someone Else". (youtube.com)
And you can now follow us on Twitter at @EricStoltzFans

PS: Sorry for not updating the site for over two weeks now, but I am working for a candy (online) shop at the moment *smile* have a great day! lee

If you're not following Eric Stoltz on Twitter, you missed that he tweeted (twitter.com) his "first music video" - the "Rumour Has It / Someone Like You" mash up, which was such a hit that it made #1 on iTunes this past week and is heading towards the High Hot 100 Debut on Billboard.com. Bravo Eric!
There's also a couple of behind-the-scenes vids out now that the Glee ep has aired. Here's one about the dodge ball war that's pretty entertaining (youtube.com). There's also a good one about 'The Slap', in which Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith talk about how Eric directed them for that scene. Click here (youtube.com).
With the holidays coming up, we'd just like to mention that the talent in Eric's family extends beyond himself, and that his sister, Susan R. Stoltz, is a gifted writer who is currently producing a series of children's books. If you have a youngster within your family or circle of friends who is in the 3 to 6-year-old age group, these books make a perfect gift, now or any time! Not only entertaining but educational as well, they're full of illustrations of adorable animal companions Sharkey, Choo-Choo and Kittyhead, and Eric has also helped out by posing for some promotional photos by Suzanne Sylvester. You can see an out-take below in our August 24th entry. A second photo is available on our Facebook page, Eric Stoltz Fans United (facebook.com). Many thanks to Susan for her generous sharing of these photos! For more information on how to order her books, please visit this site (sharkeypup.com).

Eric Stoltz has ventured into a new directing realm that includes advertising and marketing, having signed on with production and design studio The Department of The 4th Dimension, a "branded content studio that works with progressive advertising partners to energize their clients' businesses through moving pictures across multiple platforms". According to the article, he is "currently prepping a comedy-dialogue driven project encompassing both (TV) spots and web content, and is slated to direct additional episodes of this season's Glee". Click here (shootonline.com).
You can see his "comedy reel" here (thed4d.gosimian.com).
We Are Movie Geeks has a nice review of Fort McCoy, which was screened at the St. Louis Film Festival this weekend. (wearemoviegeeks.com)
Reminder that Eric's most recent Glee episode "Mash Off" airs this Tuesday, Nov. 15th. You can catch a sneak-peek here at Spoiler TV. (spoilertv.com)
This last item isn't news, but something I discovered over at Getty Images. There are 62 'new' pictures that previously did not appear under a search for "Eric Stoltz" because his last name on them is misspelled "Stolz". Having never thought to search for misspellings of his name, I missed them until Getty Images saw fit fairly recently to make it so that a search on the correct spelling of his name brings them up. Oddly, they are all dated 18 March 2009 but actually cover a wide range of years. Getty arranges photos by date, so you have to scroll down past the Paleyfest09 pics to see them. Go have a look and a smile! (gettyimages.ca)

Fort McCoy, starring Eric Stoltz, will be screened at the 20th St. Louis International Film Festival on November 12th and 13th. More info here (cinemastlouis.org).
IMDb has up a great little snippet of Eric's Pulp Fiction Blu-ray interview, in which he talks about what it's like watching Quentin Tarantino's movies with Quentin himself.
According to TV.com (click here) Eric's most recently directed Glee episode is ep 3.06 titled "Mash Off" and is scheduled to air on November 15th. This Rolling Stone article that mentions him overseeing the cast's 300th musical performance that occurs in the ep confirms that. (rollingstone.com)

Found a couple more clips and excerpts out there in relation to the release of Pulp Fiction on Blu-ray on October 4th. First is one that apparently doesn't appear on the Blu-ray release, in which Eric Stoltz talks about Quentin Tarantino's fame. (nbcmiami.com)
Miramax's Videos, on Facebook, has a clip of some of the actors, including Eric, talking about their favorite scenes and includes the infamous "needle to the heart" scene.
In Fort McCoy news, the film was awarded Best Cinematography on September 22nd at the 27th Annual Boston Film Festival (a year-to-the-day posthumous award for cinematographer Neil Lisk, who passed away September 22, 2010.) For more info click here (bostonfilmfestival.org).
It was also screened at the 6th Annual Tacoma Film Festival on Saturday the 8th, at which it won the Audience Choice Award. Article online here (weeklyvolcano.com).
Be sure to check out the clip of Andy Hirsch and Kate Connor just below the article, in which they talk about the film. Kate gives some wonderful insight into and praise for Eric's ability to capture the essence of her grandfather, Frank Stirn, in his portrayal of him. Congratulations to Neil, Kate, Eric and the rest of the cast and crew!
And it seems that Eric's newest project is an old favorite - yet another episode of Glee in the making! Jenna Ushkowitz tweeted a photo of him on the set this past week (lockerz.com).
Lea Michele said they began shooting 3.06 on the 6th, but they're also still working on 3.05. Read her tweet here (Twitter.com).
Will advise which ep it actually is when solid info is available.
That's it! Have fun! Abby

Ok, back from vacation and getting caught up on things. First, big thanks to the site Eric Stoltz Unofficial for putting this up: the deleted scene from Elektra Luxx (eric-stoltz.net).
Also, an interesting and informative article about Eric's Leverage episode, "The Long Way Down Job". If you choked up during the "last speech" scene, you are in good company - apparently even people on the set had to leave the room. Kudos to Eric Stoltz for an absolutely stellar performance! Have a few updates and follow-ups today. First, this tweet from the managing editor of Starry Constellation magazine confirms Eric Stoltz is guest staring in Leverage (twitter.com).
The clip from Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer in which Eric makes his cameo is now up on YouTube. This is actually the second time it's been posted - these things can disappear without warning sometimes, so go check it out. (www.youtube.com)
The Hollywood Reporter has an article about the directors that are on the Emmy ballot listings, and Eric has some very insightful comments about his work on Glee's Duets episode. (hollywoodreporter.com)
And, it looks like there's some more directing work for Eric Stoltz lined up! IMDb has him listed to direct episode 5.06 of Showtime's Californication. Click here. (imdb.com)
Lastly is this little bit of odd interest I hadn't heard of before: it appears Eric is in a deleted scene from Elekra Luxx, a 2010 comedy starring Carla Gugino and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with whom he worked in Joseph's 2009 short film Sparks. The movie is reviewed by DVDtalk, and the scene is on the DVD. (dvdtalk.com)

Discovered that Eric Stoltz has done a little more acting work recently! He's said to have an uncredited cameo in a new summer kids' movie called Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. The Los Angeles Times mentions him in their review here (latimes.com).
Also, according to an interview on Buddy TV with actor Aldis Hodge (buddytv.com). Eric (whose last name is misspelled 'Stolz' in the article) guest stars in the season premiere of TNT's Leverage. If that info's accurate, it would be episode 4.01 called “The Long Way Down Job” and airs on Sunday, June 26 at 9:00pm (ET/PT), according to SpoilerTV. Article here (spoilertv.com).
Ballot listings for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were posted on June 6th, and Eric Stoltz is on the listing for his directing work on Glee, episode 2.4 "Duets"! Go here (emmys.tv) and click on 'Directing' to get to the pdf of the listings.

Fort McCoy will be screened at the Cannes Independent Film Festival on Wednesday, May 18th. For more info click here (cannesfest.org). Variety also published a review, you can read it here (variety.com).

The Orange County Register has some very nice photos of Eric Stoltz attending the Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday April 30th. They are numbers 18 through 22 in the slide show here (ocregister.com).
Also, a casting director for a new TV show called "Wilfred", scheduled to debut June 23rd on FX, recently tweeted that Eric Stoltz was to make a guest appearance on the show. That tweet was then removed after the info found its way to several web sites. However, director Victor Nelli Jr. has now tweeted his thanks to people he just finished working with on a "Wilfred" ep, and Eric's name is in the list. You can see the double-tweet here and here. Victor's listed on IMDb as directing episode 1.8 called "Anger", click here. However, some of the other eps don't have the director info filled in yet, so I can't say for sure at this time that's the ep Eric is actually appearing in.
And last but certainly not least, several new photos have been posted to Eric's Twitpic account. Many of them are new photos of him working on the set of "Glee". You can see them here (twitpic.com)

In case nobody else noticed, this site is online for 8 years now. Actually I loaded it up a day earlier, but thought that to be bad luck due to the fact that it was April’s fools day! But nope, I am still here.
So, thank you for still visiting! And thank you for the wonderful friends I have made over the years because of this site.
Special hugs to my Ysa! Without her I would have went offline a looong time ago. And a big huge thank you to Abby for holding up the torch at the moment.
Let’s see what the next eight years have in stock ... which reminds me that Abby sent me updates on our favorite actor ... which reminds me that I saw someone in Berlin last week who looked like Eric Stoltz. But naaaaah ... well, who knows?
Where were we? Updates, right, here they are:
Fort McCoy, starring Eric Stoltz, is really making the rounds in April - it's being screened at no less than three film festivals! They are:
The Sonoma International Film Festival on Sunday, April 10th at 6:00 and 9:00pm. Have a look here (ehat.com).
The Worldfest 44th International Film Festival on Saturday April 9th at 7:00pm and Friday April 15th at 7:00pm. Click here (worldfest.org). You can read a review of the movie here (sonomanews.com).
The Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, April 30th at 7:15pm and Thursday, May 5th at 7:00pm. Click here (slated.com).
Tweet on Glee. The article does not say he was actually working that day, but there is confirmation elsewhere that he is indeed directing another episode of Glee. When I find out which ep and title, it will be posted.
Eric recently met with and gave acting/showbiz tips and advice to a group of students in a TV/Film class from Dos Pueblos High School. They were visiting the set of Glee on a field trip to Los Angeles. Click here (noozhawk.com).
Our little fan base is growing! If you want to be part of it, come like us on Facebook at Eric Stoltz Fans United. We'd love to see you there! Abby

There are new interviews and photos to tell you about this week!
First, Eric Stoltz did an interview with Den of Geek, in which he talks about the cancelation of Caprica.
There is also a great little interview with the Guardian in which Eric talks about his love/hate relationship with modern technology.
We finally have the official word on which episode of Off the Map was directed by Eric Stoltz. It is not ep 1.05 as rumored. The ABC press release says it is ep 1.04, titled "On the Mean Streets of San Miguel". This is confirmed by photos of Eric on the set directing this ep. They can be seen at Getty Images.
Last tidbit of news: only rumors, nothing official, but there's been mention that Eric is directing another episode of Glee. Will let you know when/if there's more info.

Happy New Year!
There are two Eric Stoltz projects to watch out for this very first week of 2011.
First, a reminder that the final five episodes of Caprica will air on January 4th on the SyFy channel beginning at 6pm. http://www.syfy.com/caprica/ If you haven't seen them yet, I assure you they are the best of the entire show. Season 1.5 of Caprica is also now available on DVD. You can order it from several places, including Amazon.com.
Second, it's been confirmed that the newest episode of Private Practice directed by Eric Stoltz is ep 4.11, titled "If You Don't Know Me By Now". It airs on January 6th. http://www.spoilertv.com/2010/12/private-practice-episode-411-if -you.html
Not sure what is going on with Paddyville. All information for this project was recently removed from IMDb. However, the production company, which lists Eric as the producer, states it is to begin filming in Canada in Feb. 2011. http://dahoomaproductions.squarespace.com/current-projects/ So I guess we continue to wait and see on that one.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and wish you all the best for the coming year! Abby
